The Department Marketing in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications
from candidates whose main research and teaching focus is consumer behavior for one or more full-time
tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant or associate professor rank, with an anticipated employment
start date of August 1, 2026. Applicants with experience levels from new doctoral recipients to associate
professors will be considered.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related social science discipline from an accredited
university at the time of appointment. Appointment at the assistant professor rank requires a demonstrated
potential to publish rigorous research in premier peer-reviewed journals. Associate applicants, or assistant
applicants requesting service credit, should have a record of publication in premier journals commensurate
with rank and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The ability to teach other marketing classes at the
undergraduate and master’s level is a plus. To be eligible for tenure on appointment, candidates must be
appointed as an associate professor, have been tenured at a prior institution, and bring a demonstrably
