Associate or Full Professor of Marketing - Michael F. Price Chair with Tenure

The Marketing & Supply Chain Management Division in the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a tenured appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor to hold the Michael F. Price Chair in Marketing. We seek a scholar of national or international distinction who will sustain a visible, high-impact research agenda with publications in premier journals—such as those recognized by the UT Dallas Top 24 (UTD 24) and Financial Times 50 (FT50) lists, or equivalent leading journals appropriate to the candidate’s area.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research pipeline that advances knowledge in marketing and related fields. Responsibilities also include teaching and innovating across undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and executive levels, in multiple delivery formats (in-person, online, and hybrid). A strong commitment to doctoral education is essential, encompassing mentoring, advising, and supporting the placement of doctoral students, as well as contributing to the development of doctoral programs.

In addition, the successful candidate will provide leadership and service to the Division, College, University, and profession through activities such as editorial board service, conference leadership, and academic governance. Engagement with industry and executive education is strongly valued, as is a demonstrated ability to build partnerships that connect scholarship with practice. While the area of specialization is open, candidates whose expertise lies in marketing strategy, digital and data-driven marketing, including AI-enabled marketing and analytics, are especially encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate should show evidence of sustained impact in the field, a history of scholarly leadership, and the ability to catalyze cross-disciplinary or cross-unit initiatives.
