The Marketing Discipline Group within the UTS Business School is inviting applications for a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) to join the team in the Marketing Discipline on a full-time continuing basis.         

About the role

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, your core responsibilities will include;

  • High quality of teaching for undergraduate and/or postgraduate classes
  • Contributing to subject development
  • Initiating and executing research projects which lead to publication in top marketing journals
  • Applying for internal and external; competitive research grants and industry research funding

 

To be successful in the role, you will have;

  • A PhD in Marketing or related field
  • Expert knowledge of quantitative methodologies with strong analytical skills and the ability to teach analytical subjects
  • Fluent in Mandarin and/or English: ability to read, write, and speak both languages confidently in a professional environment
  • Ability to build productive professional relationships and work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work with students from a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Established track record of publication in top marketing journals
  • Experience in successfully teaching marketing subjects at the undergraduate or at the postgraduate level
  • Ability to supervise PhD students to completion

 

Remuneration/Salary    

Base Salary Range:  $125,240 - $174,841 pa (Level B/C) 

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and an appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
